Staff


Position vacant		Josh Johnstone
Minister		Youth Worker
		Josh joined the staff at GPC in May 2017 as a Youth Worker and works full time, Sunday to Thursday. He is passionate about seeing people of all ages have a full and genuine love for the Lord. Josh has a real heart for youth and enjoys journeying with them though their teenage years and beyond. He enjoys playing and watching sport, and being out and about in this beautiful country.


Rose Brehmer		Janet Thompson
Office Administrator		Pastoral Care Team Coordinator
Rose joined the staff at GPC in November 2015 as Office Administrator working four mornings a week, Tuesday to Friday in the Church Office. She also helps the Church Treasurer with financial administration. Rose enjoys the variety of the position and enjoys meeting members of the congregation and kindergarten.		Janet Thompson and her team look after the needs of those in the church community who need help at a practical level. This includes visits, transport, cards of encouragement, Prayer and a monthly shared lunch. She has been attending GPC for the last nine years along with her husband Bryan. They have five children and four grandchildren that keep them busy. Janet is a semi-retired counsellor who has been, until recently, a member of the NZ Counselling Association for over twenty years. She has worked as a Restorative Justice facilitator and a Parkinson society field officer. These positions gave her a keen interest in the welfare of people.


Gabi Hofer
Community Outreach Coordinator
Gabi qualified as a Graphic Designer in Cape Town and has made New Zealand “home” after an extended OE in the UK. When Gabi isn’t running around her young children, she can be found working part-time for GPC, and volunteering her Wednesday mornings at mainly music. In her spare time (what’s that?!) she enjoys sewing and crafts. Come and say hello!
