Te Roopu Waiora

Under the long and faithful leadership of Robert Poupouare, Te Roopu O Wai Ora makes a difference in the lives of at risk youth.  GPC supports Wai Ora with an appeal and look forward to Robert’s annual updates.

Community Dinner

With other local churches GPC provides a weekly meal in the Glen Innes Community Center.  Every Tuesday a hot meal is served for a gold coin donation making a difference for a good number of families.

FACT food appeal

Every Sunday GPC collects food for the Sisters of Mercy ministry supporting struggling families in Glen Innes.

Island Child Charitable Trust

Island Child helps families out of unsuitable accommodation (garages, over crowding, etc) into state housing or similar.  On Sundays GPC collects household items (linen, kitchen ware, cleaning products etc) to help families with this transition.

Christians Against Poverty (CAP)

CAP is an international organisation with the aim of freeing people from out-of-control debt.  GPC financially contributes to the Glen Innes CAP program.

Angel Tree (Prison Fellowship)

Angel Tree is a Prison Fellowship appeal providing children with Christmas gifts on behalf of their imprisoned parent.  GPC collects, wraps and distributes gifts to local children in this situation.

Churches Education Commission (CEC)

Formally Bible in Schools, Churches Education Commission provides Christian education in state schools.  Some of GPC’s members are part of this program and GPC supports our local CEC team financially and with a place to pray before their program.
